GABRIEL'S LYRE

Status: Pre Production

Concept

A haunted house mystery with several unique takes on the genre – a key central protagonist with shut-in syndrome confined to a high-tech gadget-laden wheelchair, an ancient evil from the birth of time and a very contemporary secret-tech plot to manipulate weather to destroy the world.

Outline

Profoundly evil powers with a global reach are gathering in the deepest recesses of an eerie castle in the Scottish Highlands. Gareth, a highly intelligent young man facing the rest of his life confined to a wheelchair with an extraordinary past and an even more extraordinary future, arrives at the castle for a vacation with his troubled parents and their closest friends. Lured by the beautiful sound of Archangel Gabriel’s Lyre into a terrifying ordeal, the evil nature of the castle’s strange secrets is brutally thrust on all of them. Gareth’s sanity and the complex

passions surrounding him are challenged to breaking point in a supernatural game of cat and mouse as the world spirals into the greatest crisis it has ever faced.

Synopsis

Military veteran Trent has taken his second wife Rachel and his son (from his first marriage) Gareth on a climbing trip to Scotland with some of his ex-military buddies. Gareth suffers from shut-in syndrome, unable to move anything but his eyes and a single finger and only able to communicate via the voice-box on his high-tech wheelchair. This wheelchair is an astonishing piece of kit with caterpillar tires, a video camera with night-vision and various other features. The

group’s plan is to stay at an ancient and extremely remote castle that has been converted into a base for a climbing centre.

When they arrive at the centre things are clearly not as they should be. Several vehicles are ablaze in the drive, including a military Humvee, the building is deserted and without power and they catch just a few eerie snatches of harp music from inside the building. When their vehicle mysteriously refuses to start they have no choice but to stay the night.

Reviews for the Book

“I was so engrossed I missed my stop”

“A very exciting read. I bought the hard copy as I prefer reading a "book" Not usually having much time to read apart from in the bath (hence hard copy!!) I really could not put this book down, each page was exciting and left me having to turn over to see what happened next.. It has everything, good, evil, humour, sex and excitement; your imagination really kicks in. Having got to the end there has surely got to be a sequel???”

“A Great Read - read this and realise that the technology that the author refers to is in fact being used daily, the HAARP, the earthquake triggers, the chemtrailing of the skies to make a superconductive atmosphere to employ the HAARP - a great way to throw some light on what is going on, hidden, while we all live our lives, wrapped up in an all too real life thriller”
